Accessibility Statement
Badgers Brook Winery is committed to making our digital experience welcoming to everyone. We understand that many visitors rely on assistive technologies or specific browsing preferences, and we recognise that our current website does not yet meet every need. To address this, we have set a phased accessibility roadmap that aligns with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and Australian Government Digital Service Standard.
Where we are now — Our team is carrying out an in-depth audit of page structure, colour contrast, keyboard and screen-reader flow, link clarity, form labels, and media captions. This assessment highlights both quick wins (e.g., alternative text for images) and more complex tasks (e.g., ARIA landmarks, consistent focus indicators).
What we’re doing next — Over the coming months we’ll roll out fixes in staged releases so improvements appear continuously rather than in one large update. Priority will go to critical journeys such as reservation enquiries, contact forms, and navigation menus on mobile devices. We are also exploring third-party tools for live captioning of future video content and scalable text options for low-vision users.
How you can help — Accessibility is an ongoing partnership. If you encounter a barrier—whether a missing label, a colour combination that’s hard to read, or any other issue—please let us know. We track every item you share and feed it straight into our development queue.
We aim to respond to all accessibility feedback within two business days and to resolve actionable issues within a release cycle wherever feasible. Your insights guide our progress and help ensure that Badgers Brook Winery’s online presence becomes ever more inclusive. Last updated: 4 July 2025.
